Doggy Tea Breaks - Pets Market April 24

Doggy Tea Breaks are the creative genius behind a brand new Melbourne market especially dedicated to our furry friends.

Socialising is just as important for animals as it is for people, and dogs are most welcome at the first dedicated Pets Market opening this upcoming ANZAC long week-end.

Set through the peaceful CERES Community Park in Brunswick East, you will find organic doggie treats, healthy dog food, canine massage specialists, dog training and behavioural advice from the experts and some great locally produced pet accessories. You can even have a photo taken with your pet!

This first Pets Market has been dedicated to the very special dogs who served Australia during times of war. By purchasing a purple poppy or other collectables from the Australian War Animal Memorial, you can commemorate their achievements.

Representatives from the Forever Friends Animal Rescue service will also be at the market. You will be able to meet some of the homeless dogs looking for a forever family to love.

The CERES Environment Park also has a (pet free) organic market section where you can check out the plants and enjoy a coffee in the café.

This is the first of an ongoing series of markets to be held on the last Sunday of every month for 2016.

When: Sunday 24th April, from 10m - 4pm

Where: CERES Environment Park, Cnr. Stewart & Robert Streets, Brunswick East.

Cost: Entry to The Pet Market is free.

Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the market.
