The MC will be local David Koch from Sunrise with prizes handed out for the Best Trick, Best Dressed and for the first time the Best Rescue Dog, co-judged by Monika from Monika’s Rescues, local MP Bronwyn Bishop and Rob Stokes, NSW Minister for Planning.
Avalon Market Day is an annual free community event which is organised and sponsored by Avalon Palm Beach Business Chamber Inc. It attracts a crowd of 50,000 visitors, who enjoy the local cafes, shops, over 300 quality stalls as well as four stages with an all day live music programme.
This event is a fun day out for all ages and focuses on community, arts and craft activities and environmental sustainability. The 2015 Avalon Market Day will be the finale for the Avalon Art Carnival with 25 artists exhibiting interactive public art installations throughout the Village.
The festival will include fabulous food, lots of Christmas shopping bargains, great entertainment, a petting zoo, activities for kids etc.

When: Saturday 21 November, from 9am to 4pm. The Dog Show will be held at 9:30am.
